Counselling during coronavirus

I am currently still working face to face at my office in Longbenton, but I am also experienced at delivering therapy over Skype and similar software, so in one format or another I anticipate continuing to work throughout the pandemic.

Brief summary:

I qualified as a counsellor in 2013 after training over four years, but have been working and volunteering in the area of mental health for almost 20 years. I have a special interest in and experience of working with people with eating disorders, but I also have areas of experience around self harm, trauma and abuse, and gender and sexuality diversity, alongside other common reasons people might seek counselling. You can find a bit more information about me here, an explanation of counselling here, and my contact information and hourly rates here. I am accredited by and registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and practice according to their code of ethics.

I also have profiles on the BACP therapist’s directory and the Counselling Directory.
